Dr. Lawrence Ajayi, the Executive Chairman (GCEO) of LAKEL Gateway and the GCEO and Executive Chairman of LAKEL Group, LIFE LIGHT ENERGY, Faithful Minerals Mining, and JIMAJ ENERGY SERVICES, boasts a remarkable track record of success on a global scale. With a focus on the oil and mining sectors, he obtained his degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Port-Harcourt and pursued Business Administration (MBA) studies at London South Bank University. Additionally, he holds a Ph.D. in Ministry and Administration and is currently pursuing a DBA at UBIS Switzerland. Not only is he a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner, but he also possesses extensive experience in business start-ups and 'Managing Successful Projects,' complemented by his NEBOSH 3 Certification in Health and Safety. With over three decades of experience in the oil and gas and mining industries, Dr. Ajayi's role as Group CEO and Executive Chairman involves crucial responsibilities such as making key corporate decisions, managing overall operations and resources, shaping short- and long-term strategies, and communicating on behalf of the companies. He excels in evaluating the work of other executive leaders, maintaining awareness of market landscapes and expansion opportunities, ensuring high corporate social responsibility standards, assessing and mitigating risks, setting measurable strategic goals, and driving maximum results for the companies he oversees.
